Hi Guys, a bit of a newbie when it comes to DS images.
Where is the addon manager located, tried everything i can think of but got me stumped, i'm using the TM500 btw, just which buttons to press?

Nice looking forum, hope to contribute when i've a little more use of the images.

Mounting CIFS

Hi, I have just mounted a folder on my pc using the commands below:

rm -rf /var/mnt/ ( it is link as I remember well )
mkdir /var/mnt
mkdir /var/mnt/cifs

and then

mount -t cifs -o user=xxx,password=xxx //192.168.xxx.xxx/movie /var/mnt/cifs

or you can check if it mounts to /tmp for the moment

(xxx is the info i needed to put in).

All seems to have gone well as i have dropped som .mpg files into my shared folder on the pc and i can see them through my box (cannot play but thats a question for a different time).

my question is, how to i record from my box to the shared folder on my pc?

Any help on this would be great.

This is very strange because i have in flash latest itgate 110 image, and in memory card nemesis 4.4, my card with newcs works, and with oscam not works. i try in different box dm500s all this same i copy from itgate/tm9100s to dm500s and oscam works

Maybe any developer can fix source code itgate/tm9100s because i think itgate/tm9100s use old driver to card reader

Inadyn Manager

Hello, I've one TM600 with DS v4.0 rev3 installed, and I can't update no-ip.biz adress correctly with inadyn manager, I always had my DM-500 and AzBox Elite updating ddns fine, but this TM-600 is giving me problems, the username and password are correct, and I can use them on no-ip windows program, if someone can give me an example of an inadyn.conf for an no-ip.biz account, it would be great.

Mounting folders on PC via CIFS in DS 4.0 v3 at TM600

I have just installed DS Team 4.0 v3 image and it looks great but I have not been able to mount folders using CIFS protocol for my TM600 box. I have tried using the Mount Manager at the web interface. I have tried using the mount command at the telnet prompt. I should add that I could mount with no problems before. Any ideas?

One thing I have noticed with this new image is that under the /mnt directory, there are separate directories for cifs, nfs and smbfs. Before, I would point /mnt/xxx where xxx is the shared folder on the PC. Now, should I replace this with /mnt/cifs/xxx? I have tried that already and it dos not work...
